Board of Elections informs Jackson of residency challenge

HarryJackson The D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics has sent anti-gay Bishop Harry Jackson a letter informing him of the challenge by Cary Silverman and Martin Moulton that claims he does not meet the residency requirements to be a "registered qualified elector" in the District of Columbia. Jackson, ringleader of the failed push for a referendum on recognition of same-sex marriages, must respond to the challenge by July 30 or his name will be struck from the voter roll.

Of course, the address to which BOEE mailed the letter is the very one in question, 910 M Street, NW. We can't wait to see how the Post Office handles it. Will it be returned stamped "Addressee Unknown"? Silverman, who was cc'd on the letter, forwarded us a copy, adding the comment, "Rumor is that Rev. Jackson claims he has now 'moved out' of the Whitman and rented an apartment near Nationals Park."

So the heterosexually married Bishop Jackson has moved out of the one-bedroom apartment he shared with another man to a place within shouting distance of Ziegfeld's and Secrets. How convenient!
