New scanners break child porn laws in the UK

Scanners

Ester Goldberg shares this from the UK Guardian:

The rapid introduction of full body scanners at British airports threatens to breach child protection laws which ban the creation of indecent images of children, the UK Guardian has learned.

Now there's a fine unintended consquence for you. Rather like websites on preventing breast cancer being blocked by anti-porn softward because of the word "breast."

Wouldn't it be nice if one of the unintended consequences of these laws were the introduction of a more rational approach to indecency and pornography! When I flew out of Dulles to Jo'burg last week, I was interviewed while in the check-in queue by some TV person doing a report on passenger attitudes to potential new scanning techniques. She seemed a bit flummoxed by my nonchalant attitude, particularly my "I should hope so" remark to her question as to whether I was aware that the new scanners could show body parts.

it's good to see this information in your post, i was looking the same but there was not any proper resource, thanx now i have the link which i was looking for my research.
