Marriage Equality in the District now officially March 3, 2010
As reported here first, the projected effective date for marriage equality in D.C. is March 3, 2010.
General Counsel to the Council and official counter of days, Brian Flowers wrote in an email:
"...note that the projected law date for the Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act has slipped one day because neither House was in session on Friday and they did not return on Monday. The new date is March 3, 2010."
Of course, it can always change.
